Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in New York for 2nd/3rd shift and weekend coverage. You will maintain safety for customers and staff, observe and report hazards, and ensure compliance with site rules while delivering professional customer service. Must have an Unarmed Security License.

Responsibilities include patrolling on foot, lifting within safe limits, and adapting to all weather conditions to protect people and assets on client sites.

Job Skills / Requirements

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards,
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interacts with clients, visitors, employees and the public in a professional manner.
• This position requires you to be a customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Hourly Wage: 21.25hr
