Job summary

Prosegur in Deer Park, NY is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer to protect people and property while delivering professional service. The role requires alertness, good communication, and the ability to perform routine patrols in all weather conditions.

Candidates should be 18+, hold a High School diploma or GED, possess a valid New York State Security License, and have at least one year of security experience. A clean driving record and reliable transportation are also expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
