Job summary

Prosegur in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking an unarmed security officer to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff while delivering professional service during daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while performing unarmed security duties.
• Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
• Understand and follow Prosegur and client requirements and post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees and the public in a professional manner.
• Demonstrate customer-service orientation and basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Perform routine foot patrols and be able to walk/run stairs daily.

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good communications skills
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.
