Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Highway 108 in Sulphur, LA. This unarmed role involves safeguarding clients across industries at a chemical/petrochemical location, conducting patrols, and providing excellent customer service.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, TSA-issued TWIC, and the ability to lift 20+ pounds. Working hours are daytime, with a Full Time schedule and a competitive $16.00 per hour wage.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted as part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations calmly and following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operations, parking, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry/exit activity, verify credentials, maintain records, and report access-control concerns to site leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions using required reporting tools.
