Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Perimeter Inspector in Pensacola, FL to patrol unarmed at a manufacturing/industrial location, deter incidents, monitor access, and deliver customer service.

The role is full time with day and evening shifts; pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Minimum requirements include 2+ years security experience, HS diploma, background check, and drug screen. Licensing and driver’s license requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting required information and reporting deviations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities while maintaining a professional presence.
