Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Hazard Reporting) in Atlanta, GA. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide customer service while upholding our values of integrity and teamwork.

Minimum requirements include 18+ years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed), a high school diploma or equivalent, and passing background checks and a drug screen. Schedule includes daytime and overnight shifts; earn $15.37 per hour and use our Claim a Shift platform to grow

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific policies, security-related procedures, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and driver check-in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and promptly reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
