Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Reporting in Houston, TX. You will monitor and protect clients across government facilities, use tablets for reporting, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

This full-time role offers overnight shifts, a $16.97 hourly pay, and opportunities for customized training and career growth within AUS.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public by following site procedures and access-control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document activities.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned facilities to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor entrances/exits; verify credentials and assist with visitor management and traffic flow.
• Prepare accurate incident and patrol reports and communicate with site personnel and responding agencies.
