Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, volunteers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a cultural institution.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, public areas, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and helping to maintain orderly visitor flow.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location representatives.
