Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and campus policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergency situations with calm, clear communication to campus contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, galleries, common areas, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional campus interactions.
