Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Patrol Hazard Recognition) in Philadelphia, PA. You will monitor galleries and public spaces, deter incidents, greet visitors, and report concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, volunteers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and visitor concerns in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, public spaces, staff areas, entrances, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and support orderly entry and movement throughout the location.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
