Job summary

Allied Universal in Pflugerville, TX is seeking an unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver for government facilities. The role involves patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access control, with driving duties and daily interaction with visitors and staff.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $22.00 per hour. Responsibilities include reporting incidents, documenting observations, and providing professional customer service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols and incidents.
