Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) in Akron, OH. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to clients at a utilities site.

The role emphasizes safety, protocol adherence, and collaboration with a team that values integrity and people-first service. CPR and badge-experience are preferred enhancements to the role.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter zones.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, security incidents, or hazards per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms per established protocols and notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident/visitor documentation as required.
