As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Support Patrol in Akron, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help to deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the site.


• Monitor and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, hazardous conditions, and facility concerns in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.


• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and visitor or contractor documentation as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.


• CPR Certification is preferred.


• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.


• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
