Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Unarmed in Columbia, SC to protect clients across financial institutions and other sites. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and enforce site procedures while delivering friendly customer service.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, at least two years of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following protocols.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and incidents and share with leadership.
