Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed in Columbia, SC. You will patrol and monitor a financial institution, provide customer service, and maintain safety and security on site.

Responsibilities include verifying credentials, reporting incidents, and responding to alarms with professionalism. Requires a valid driver’s license and background check; driving positions may require a license.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience or more.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation in accordance with laws will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms following emergency procedures.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership.
