Allied Universal in Ottawa, IL, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) to protect clients in a food and beverage production environment. You will monitor areas, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and deliver customer service while documenting observations.

Shift options include Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM and Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; pay rate is $18.25 per hour. Requirements: 18+, high school diploma, background check, drug screen, and licensing as required.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors; uphold security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and report potential hazards, unusual activity, and policy concerns to site leadership.
