Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol. At a food and beverage production location in Ottawa, IL, you will deliver customer service, patrol assigned areas, and deter security incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment.

This part-time role offers a schedule Friday to Sunday nights, $18.25 per hour, with opportunities to grow through our Shift-claiming platform and access to exclusive perks.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.
