Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, data center areas, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity per site requirements; report suspicious activity.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications with a professional presence.
