Job summary

Allied Universal in Hopewell Junction, NY is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Support to protect clients across tech/media/telecom settings. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control, and deliver professional customer service while documenting activities.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, comfort with using a computer or tablet, and a readiness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and restricted areas; report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and documentation procedures.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
