Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and restricted areas; report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and documentation procedures.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Support in Hopewell Junction, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Pay Rate: $18.73 - $19.73 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
