Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking a Security Relief Officer in Mesa, AZ. The role requires a current AZ guard card, a clean driver's license, a high school diploma, and professional appearance. You will greet guests, verify credentials, monitor surveillance, patrol the premises, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and cordially.
• Verify credentials of incoming/outgoing individuals and vehicles.
• Protect people and property; enforce policies.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and prevent vandalism or theft.
• Observe surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol interior/exterior perimeters for safety risks.
• Address infractions such as loitering or prohibited items.
• Respond to alarms or emergencies by contacting first responders.
• Report safety or security concerns promptly.
• Ensure accurate submission of reports and documents.
• Enforce all site rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Site Location: Mesa, AZ

Salary: $22.00/hr

A CURRENT ARIZONA GUARD CARD IS REQUIRED.

Security Relief Officer Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and/or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and/or other criminal behavior.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and/or in possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
• Other duties to be determined by Management.
