Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is hiring for a Security Officer Medical Facility Access Control in Jamaica, NY. You will monitor access points, assist visitors, and respond calmly to incidents, ensuring a secure environment for staff and patients within a healthcare setting.

You will carry out site-specific procedures, document activities, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong safety presence across shifts.

Qualifications

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized representatives at a healthcare-related medical examination location.
• Monitor access points and check credentials; document visitor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and daily activities.
