Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Medical Facility Control Access in Jamaica, NY. You will monitor access points, patrol areas, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals in accordance with site policies and confidentiality requirements.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoffs while maintaining a professional presence and protecting confidential information.
