Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Guard (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol Coordination) in Arlington, VA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, support access control, and assist tenants with professionalism while reflecting the company’s values.

Minimum requirements include 2+ years of security experience, ability to use a computer or tablet, and high school diploma. A background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security-related experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors and personnel per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, entry points and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify emergency services or management as needed.
• Complete logs, reports and shift communications for security operations.
