Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Chillicothe, IL. You will serve and safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial settings, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support security operations with clear communication and basic tech tools.

The role offers full-time hours, a daytime schedule with weekend shifts, and a starting pay of $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and document entries and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Observe for unusual conditions and communicate findings to site contacts and leadership.
