Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Patrol Operations in Disputanta, VA. You will serve clients at a logistics and distribution location, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering courteous service to employees, visitors, and drivers.

You will follow site procedures, respond to incidents, conduct regular unarmed patrols, verify identities, and document actions for site leadership and supervision.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, solution-focused manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, docks, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Verify authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers per site procedures.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate with site leadership.
