Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Patrol Operations in Disputanta, VA. You will serve clients at a logistics and distribution location, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering courteous service to employees, visitors, and drivers.

You will follow site procedures, respond to incidents, conduct regular unarmed patrols, verify identities, and document actions for site leadership and supervision.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, solution-focused manner.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations in Disputanta, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to site needs with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
