Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Kearney, NE. This part-time, unarmed position involves patrolling, monitoring access, and delivering high-quality customer service at a technology/telecom location.

The role offers a part-time schedule with pay at $21.00 per hour. Candidates must meet minimum requirements, pass background checks and drug screening, and may need a valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, and parking areas to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and security systems; document observations and report concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving communication to site contacts and leadership.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and shift documentation while staying professional in a tech-focused environment.
