Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, common areas, parking facilities, access points, and the business perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site‑specific procedures, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; document observations and complete required incident reports.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
