Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking Security Officers to safeguard personnel, assets and property across client sites. You will screen visitors, control access, and ensure proper authorization for leaving with equipment or packages while maintaining safety and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Pistol Permit.
• IL Armed Guard Card.
• Minimum one year security officer experience.
• Background check and drug test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard Inter-Con personnel, assets and property.
• Screen visitors, maintenance/workers, vendors, and other personnel entering premises.
• Ensure proper post-authorization for personnel leaving with equipment or packages.
• Respond to emergencies and enforce post orders across the assignment.
• Assist customers, employees, visitors, and emergency responders as required.
• Patrol bank premises and surrounding areas.
• Perform duties of a Fire Guard or Fire Safety Director as needed.
• Prepare incident reports detailing actions taken to address conditions or emergencies.
