Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer-SM to safeguard facilities and assets. This full-time role involves patrolling, screening personnel and baggage, monitoring CCTV, and responding to security incidents at various access points.

The position requires 21+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, a valid Security Guard Registration Card, and the ability to obtain state licensing. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Have reliable transportation.
• Physically capable of performing the assigned work.
• Be able to meet all applicable licensing, registration, and certification requirements in the state in which the officer's assigned facility is located.
• Communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Security Officer covers posts (e.g., customer counter, employee, vehicle entrances, guard houses, gates, construction gates, parking lot, perimeter).
• Screens employees (in/out) and personal baggage at pedestrian and vehicle entrances.
• Verifies seal controls on vehicles at gateway (cut and apply seals).
• Verifies identity badges of personnel for clearance, screen vehicles.
• Monitors CCTV.
• Operates X-ray machine.
• Performs additional duties related to security of premises as required.
