Job summary

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, stockrooms, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
