Job summary

Prosegur in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the Afternoon shift. This full-time, on-site role guards our clients' property, controls access, and provides courteous customer service to residents and visitors.

You will work a schedule including Sun-Mon 14:00-22:00, Tue-Wed off, Thu 14:00-22:00, Fri 14:00-23:00, Sat 10:00-17:00, with a starting pay rate of $17.50 per hour. Must have security license, valid driver license, and 2 years of security and customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a valid Security Guard License.
• Must have a valid Driver License.
• Must have 2 years of experience as a Security Officer.
• Must have 2 years of experience in Customer Service.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have good communications skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs daily.
• Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods.
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

• Greeting, checking in, and directing visitors.
• Enforcing access control and assuring that only authorized personnel enter the property.
• Monitoring operational procedures.
• Maintaining constant surveillance of assigned areas.
• Providing customer service for residents, visitors, and/or guests.
• Writing accident and incident reports for any suspicious activities or safety hazards.
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property.
• Make sure all entry/exit gate equipment is operational.
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.

Shift Includes: Afternoons

Sun-Mon:1400-2200

Sat: 1000-1700

Tues-Weds: OFF

Thurs:1400-2200

Fri:1400-2300

The starting pay rate is $17.50/Hourly
