Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot or vehicle patrols to detect suspicious behavior.
• Greet and manage visitors and deliveries at the gatehouse.
• Provide customer service and monitor access control at the front desk.
• Check devices in and out and verify visitor security.
• Monitor dock activities and count pallets for inbound trucks.

Responsibilities

• Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior.
• Gatehouse: Greet truck drivers and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access.
• Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy, provide customer service, manage access control, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages.
• Device Check: Scan tags on the back of approved employee devices, read IMEIs on phones, ensure they match approved stickers or paperwork.
• North Dock: Monitor trash dump for theft attempts, open and close dock doors, track outbound trucks, count pallets for inbound trucks, monitor dock door activity during peak season.
• South Dock: Count pallets for inbound trucks, monitor special projects during peak season, send and receive emails, type truck information, open and close dock doors.
• Metal Detector: Check devices in and out; ensure only approved devices with a sticker or approved paperwork are allowed. Verify visitors clear through the X‑ray and prevent prohibited items from entering the building.
• Tracker: Keep track of all high‑value loads via computer software.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
• Will be required to perform actions such as crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications

Mornings, mid‑day, overnight, and weekend availability required.
