Responsibilities

• Device Check: Scanning tag on the back of approved employee devices; reading a person’s IMEI on the phone to ensure it matches the sticker or paperwork provided for the approved device.
• North Dock: Monitoring trash dump for theft attempts; opening and closing dock doors; tracking outbound trucks; counting pallets for inbound trucks; monitoring open dock doors during loading; monitoring special projects during peak season.
• South Dock: Counting pallets for inbound trucks; monitoring special projects during peak season; sending and receiving emails; typing truck information; monitoring open dock doors; opening and closing dock doors.
• Metal Detector: Checking devices in and out; ensuring only approved devices with a sticker or approved paperwork are allowed; monitoring the X-Ray and ensuring visitors clear through it; preventing prohibited items from entering the building.
• Rover: Walking throughout the area to deter theft attempts.
• Tracker: Keeping track of all high-value loads via computer software.

Required Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas required
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual considered a plus
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
