St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the Secaucus, NJ area. The role focuses on observation, reporting, and routine patrols to protect clients and assets.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, NJ security license/registration, and 1–3 years of relevant experience. Scheduling is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

Location: Secaucus, NJ

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Primary Purpose and Function

The Security Officer is responsible for providing security services at assigned locations with a focus on observing and reporting. Duties include, but are not limited to monitoring and reporting all activity, conducting foot patrols and/or vehicular patrols, depending on exterior areas; reporting suspicious activities, suspicious persons, writing detailed narrative reports, maintaining daily activity reports (DAR's), enforcing post orders, site rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and responding to emergency situations requiring security assistance.

• Conduct foot and/or vehicular patrols as assigned
• Identify and report security threats, suspicious activity, unsafe conditions, and hazards
• Enforce site-specific post orders, rules, policies, and procedures
• Write clear, accurate, and detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Respond to incidents and emergencies as needed
• Provide customer service and support as directed
• Maintain awareness of site-specific emergency procedures
• Complete required training and follow company procedures
• Perform other security duties as assigned by a supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid NJ security license/registration
• 1-3 years of professional experience preferred; security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience highly desired
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to write clear and concise reports
• Professional demeanor and good judgment
• Reliable transportation or access to public transportation
• Must successfully complete required background screening and drug/alcohol testing, where applicable
