Job summary

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for our East Hanover, NJ client site. The officer will maintain a safe environment through patrols, observations, reporting, and customer service.

Requirements include NJ SORA license, HS diploma or GED, and strong communication skills. The position is full-time, 1st shift, Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a pay rate of $19.50 per hour. Travel and relocation are not required.

Qualifications

• Must hold New Jersey SORA license.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to write detailed and accurate reports.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.
• Security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred.
• CCURE security software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols of assigned areas.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, hazards, and security concerns.
• Enforce site policies, procedures, and post orders.
• Respond to incidents and emergency situations as required.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
• Monitor access control and visitor activity as assigned.
