Job summary

Afognak is seeking a full-time Unarmed Security Officer to support our Airbus Helicopter customer in Grand Prairie, Texas. The role involves responding to calls, securing scenes, crowd control, and conducting routine checks of personnel, vehicles, and facilities.

This position requires English fluency, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to complete security training, pass background checks, and a pre-employment exam. Travel and training are possible as described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to multitask and work with little supervision.
• Familiarity with CCTV, access control and emergency notification systems.
• Able to pass criminal background checks and a pre-employment test.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls/incidents and secure scenes while managing crowds as needed.
• Perform patrols of personnel, vehicles, and facilities and conduct checks.
• Provide first aid/CPR when required and complete required reports electronically.
• Maintain security system knowledge and adhere to SOPs and training.

POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Diversified Services, Inc. a subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporation has a great opportunity for afull-time Unarmed Security Officersupporting ourAirbus Helicopter customer located in Grand Prairie Texas.

This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.

• Responding to a variety of calls/incidents, secures/safeguards specific scenes, perform crowd control as required.


• Safeguard and secures all scenes


• Performs crowd control when needed


• Performs personnel, vehicular, and building facility checks


• First Aid and CPR as required and all Aognak training


• Completes all required reports, forms, and other established procedures via electronic security applications


• Must be able to Multi-task


• Must be familiar with various Security systems such as: CCTV’s, access control, emergency notification systems, and mobile security applications.


• Maintains uniform and grooming standards in accordance with company policies


• Safeguards all assets, provides motorist assistance and escort persons and equipment as needed


• Conducts other assignments in accordance with established SOP’s

Payrate:$16.50 to $17.00 Hourly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.


• H.S. Diploma or equivalent.


• Must be able to Multi-task .


• Must be familiar with various Security systems such as: CCTV’s, access control, emergency notification systems, and mobile security applications.


• Ability to work a flexible schedule.


• Successfully pass a criminal history background investigation.


• Must Speak English fluently; read and comprehend written English.


• Must be able to demonstrate excellent skill using G-Suites applications.


• Must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications.


• Must be able to successfully complete approximately 40 hrs. of company provided training. (Classes can be scheduled 7 days a week). Portions will be online and then practical demonstration.


• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment physical exam and drug screen.


• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment Physical Readiness Test.


• Must be able to successfully complete and pass all company provided training; to include Expandable Baton, Defensive Tactics, CPR, First Aid and incident report writing.


• Must be able to pass a background check.


• Must be able to successfully pass the Afognak Diversified Services Inc Driver’s Safety Course.


• Must have a clean Driving Record.


• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with little supervision.


• Must be able to stand post for up to 4 hours without a break.


• Must have good timekeeping skills.


• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.


• Must be able to pass a background check.


• Must maintain and complete all Afognak Diversified Services Inc training, practical or computer based.
