Prosegur is hiring a reliable, experienced Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for customers and co-workers. You will patrol, monitor premises, and report hazards while delivering professional service with strong communication skills. This part-time role covers 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts and weekends with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• State Issued Security License.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver license.
• Capable of following complex instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
