Job summary

Absolute International Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard in Temecula, CA to maintain a safe environment for clients, employees, and visitors. The role requires a professional demeanor, alert observation, and the ability to perform regular patrols and access control duties.

The position is Full-Time, Non-Exempt with weekly pay and benefits, including retirement planning and training opportunities. Must be 18+, pass background/drug checks, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and additional client requirements.
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
• Comfortable working outdoors, including during varied weather conditions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be dependable, committed to ethical conduct, and acts with integrity.
• Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to company grooming and uniform standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal activity
• Perform thorough routine patrols of the assigned area including of public social services facility and surrounding parking lot
• Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles
• Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation
• Communicate effectively over radio, phone, or in person with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances
• Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times
• Maintain authorized less-than-lethal equipment in compliance with company standards
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all
• Follow post orders, site protocols, and all relevant company procedures
