Hawque Protection Group is seeking a dedicated Unarmed Security Guard to perform client-site security on a 1099 independent contractor basis. Duties include patrols, access control, incident response, and precise reporting across varying client locations in Atlanta, GA.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, GA unarmed guard certification, and strong observation, communication, and de-escalation skills. Assignment-based hours, with no guaranteed minimums.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• State of GA unarmed guard certification required.
• Experience in security, hospitality, customer-service preferred; entry-level considered.
• Ability to report clearly in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Patrol & Surveillance: conduct regular foot patrols and maintain visible security presence.
• Access Control & Professional Security Presence: monitor entrances and common areas; interact professionally.
• Incident Response & De-escalation: respond to alarms and emergencies; de-escalate as needed.
• Reporting & Documentation: complete daily activity and incident reports accurately and timely.
• Client Service & Communication: provide courteous assistance and relay security concerns via designated channels.
• Post Orders, Safety & Site Compliance: follow client post orders and safety rules; report hazards.
• Confidentiality & Scope of Authority: protect client and company information; do not exceed authority.
