Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard - Corporate Patrol Response in Tempe, AZ to protect clients across various industries, including financial institutions.

You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, respond to alarms and incidents, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document incidents and patrols accurately and communicate information to site leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting a professional environment for employees and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
