Job summary

GDI.com is seeking a reliable unarmed security guard to ensure safety and security at our premises in Statesboro, Georgia. The ideal candidate should be alert, professional, and possess a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include monitoring premises, filling out detailed reports, and examining security features, all while working as part of a team. Candidates must have previous experience in security or related fields and meet grooming standards.

We offer promotion opportunities, an Employee Assistance Program, uniforms, and support in obtaining a state license where necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related fields.
• Meet and maintain grooming standards.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out detailed reports.
• Examine doors, windows, and gates for security.
• Warn violators of rules and regulations.
• Report facility issues such as fire hazards.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Annotate events using provided software.
• Make regular patrols around the property.
• Work as part of a team.

Shift(s):

Saturday and Sunday (9:00am-9:00pm)

Weekly Pay!!!

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out reports with a high level of detail.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
• Successfully use the provided software to annotate events that occur during shift.
• Make regular trips around the property and scan the pre-determined points as directed by management.
• Work as part of a team

Requirements:

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle a light physical workload. Ability to stand and/or walk assigned patrols.
• Strong attention to detail
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• Meet and continuously maintain grooming standards.
• Have a reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's license!
