GDI Integrated Facility Services in Florida seeks a responsible security guard to help ensure safety and security at our premises. The ideal candidate is alert, professional, and reliable.

Shift(s): Tue-Sat 10:00pm-6:00am. We offer promotion opportunities, medical, dental, vision coverage, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), uniforms furnished at no cost, licensing assistance where required, flexible scheduling, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related fields.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out reports with a high level of detail.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Report facility issues such as fire hazards and water leaks.
• Coordinate with emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Annotate events using provided software during shifts.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property as directed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out reports with a high level of detail.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with computer.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Successfully use the provided software to annotate events that occur during shift.
• Make regular trips around the property and scan the pre-determined points as directed by management.
• Work as part of a team.
• Complete Weekly payroll.
• Complete interviews and complete hiring process for new employees.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle a light physical workload. Ability to stand and/or walk assigned patrols.
• Strong attention to detail
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• Meet and continuously maintain grooming standards.
• Have a reliable means of transportation.
