Job summary

GDI, Inc. is seeking a responsible security guard to help ensure safety at our premises in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will be alert, professional, and reliable to protect people and property.

The role includes monitoring, patrolling, and reporting incidents using security software, with multiple shifts available and weekly pay. Join a team focused on safety and dependability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields.
• Ability to stand and/or walk assigned patrols.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Meet and continuously maintain grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to deter suspicious activity and criminal activity.
• Fill out reports with high level of detail; examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Report facility issues such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, safety and lighting issues; request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Use provided software to annotate events that occur during shift.
• Make regular trips around the property and scan pre-determined points as directed by management.
• Must be knowledgeable of SOPs for the site.
• Work as part of a team on a daily basis to include events on property.
• Perform other assigned duties.

6:00am-2:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm and 10:00pm-6:00am (Monday-Friday)

6:00am-6:00pm and 6:00pm-6:00am (Saturday-Sunday)

Job Duties:

• Monitor premises to deter suspicious activity and criminal activity
• Fill out reports with high level of detail
  Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
