Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking a responsible and dependable security guard to help ensure safety at our premises in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate is alert, professional, and reliable, with prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.

You will monitor, report, and respond to incidents, perform patrols, complete detailed reports, and follow site SOPs. The role offers weekly pay, benefits options, and opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related fields.
• Ability to stand/walk during assigned patrols and monitor premises.
• Maintain grooming standards and professional presentation.
• Demonstrated reliability and responsibility on the job.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to deter suspicious or criminal activity.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates for proper function.
• Warn violators and enforce site rules and regulations.
• Report facility issues such as hazards, leaks, or lighting problems.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations when needed.
• Use provided software to annotate events during shifts.
• Complete regular patrols and check predetermined points as directed.
• Follow SOPs for the site and work as part of a team.

6:00am-2:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm and 10:00pm-6:00am (Monday-Friday)

6:00am-6:00pm and 6:00pm-6:00am (Saturday-Sunday)

Job Duties

• Monitor premises to deter suspicious activity and criminal activity
• Fill out reports with high level of detail Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, safety & lighting issues Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
• Successfully use the provided software to annotate events that occur during shift.
• Make regular trips around the property and scan the pre-determined points as directed by management
• Must be knowledgeable of the SOPs for the site
• Work as part of a team on a daily basis to include events on property
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields
• Ability to handle physical workload. Ability to stand and/or walk assigned patrols
• Strong attention to detail
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• Meet and continuously maintain grooming standards
