Job summary

GDI Security Services is seeking a responsible security guard to help ensure safety at our premises in Kissimmee, Florida. The ideal candidate is alert, professional, and reliable, with experience in security or related fields and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include monitoring for theft or violations, detailed reporting, patrolling, and use of security software. Training and license assistance may be provided where required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Ability to stand and/or walk assigned patrols and handle a light physical workload.
• Strong attention to detail.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Meet grooming standards.
• Have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out reports with a high level of detail.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with computer.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
• Use the provided software to annotate events that occur during shift.
• Make regular trips around the property and scan predetermined points as directed by management.
• Work as part of a team
• Perform other assigned duties.
