As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will support critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues requiring an enhanced presence, and asset protection. Your role is vital in the security services Inter-Con provides daily.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain high visibility to deter crime
• Assist visitors and handle minor issues
• Monitor entry and exit points
• Report situations and emergencies promptly
• Inspect facilities for security breaches
• Report accidents, injuries, and facility issues
• Protect property and deter theft
• Maintain security logs and incident reports

Qualifications:

• Alertness, judgment, and ability to follow instructions
• Fluency in English
• Ability to read, write, and understand directions
• Monitor security systems

Requirements:

Basic:

• Physical exam within 6 months
• Pre-employment drug screening
• Security and emergency training
• Training on policies regarding drugs, harassment, violence, discrimination
• Operation of security systems

Education & Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical security tasks
• Good health and vision, normal color perception, acceptable hearing levels
