Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring an Unarmed Security Flex Officer for a high-volume distribution and warehouse facility in Hazleton, PA. The role focuses on patrols, gatehouse and front desk access control, security checks, and dock monitoring, with shifts scheduled based on availability.

• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time.
• Able to provide availability and work shifts as scheduled based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Rover: Patrols and detect suspicious behavior to prevent vandalism or theft.
• Gatehouse: Greet drivers/guests, log vehicles, check IDs, control access.
• Front Desk: Greet guests, provide customer service, monitor CCTV, distribute packages.
• Access Control: Perform site access checks according to procedures.
• Dock Operations: Monitor docks, log inbound/outbound trucks, open/close doors.
• Receiving Support: Assist inbound processing, maintain logs and emails.
• Security Checks: Conduct checks and report concerns to supervisor.
• Site Monitoring: Use site systems to monitor activity and keep records.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security AND customer service fields.

Join our team at a high-volume distribution and warehouse facility as an Unarmed Security Flex Officer, where you’ll play a critical role in protecting people, property, and assets. You will be responsible for patrols, gatehouse and front desk access control, security checks, and dock monitoring.

Job is located in Hazelton Mills, PA (Commutable from Wilkes-Barre and surrounding areas).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior, etc.
• Gatehouse: Greet truck drivers and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to all persons to the property, etc.
• Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, customer service, access control, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages, etc.
• Access Control: Perform access control and security checks according to site procedures.
• Dock Operations: Monitor shipping areas, open and close dock doors, log inbound and outbound trucks, and help prevent theft during loading and peak-season projects.
• Receiving Support: Assist with inbound truck processing, keep accurate logs, send and receive emails, and monitor open dock doors.
• Security Checks: Conduct security checks according to site procedures and report any concerns to your supervisor.
• Site Monitoring: Use site computer systems to monitor activity and keep accurate records according to site procedures.
