Job summary

Allied Universal in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Route Inspection to serve and safeguard clients across logistics sites. This role involves patrolling, monitoring access points, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents while providing outstanding customer service.

You will drive a company vehicle on a designated route, follow site procedures, log activities, and respond calmly to emergencies.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license required.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following emergency procedures.
• Report incidents and maintenance concerns to site leadership.
